About T. Jarred Carlton III

T. Jarred Carlton is a Classical and Jazz Saxophonist originally from Barstow, California. After moving to Texas, he then graduated from Cleburne High School in Cleburne, Texas. Mr. Carlton received his Bachelors degree of Music Education with a Minor in Jazz Performance and Music Theory from Northwestern State University under the guidance of Dr. Paul Forsyth. After which, completedhis Masters Degree in Music at Oklahoma State University with Dr. Jeffrey Loeffert.
​Being equally adept at both the classical and jazz repertoire, Jarred Carlton has performed recitals and has taught privately since 2008 in the Dallas-Fort Worth Area.

Mr. Carlton has performed with several guests artist such as Wycliffe Gordon, Stockton Helbing, H2 Quartet, Sy Brandon, Jim Riggs, Brad Leali, Mike Tomarro, Mike Vax, Bill Watrous, Willerm Dellisfort, Rob Wilkerson, Kris Berg.

Performed with: Hardwick Rivers Revue (LA), The LaCour Trio (LA). Johny Earthquake and the Moondogs (LA), Weatherford Jazz Ensemble (TX), Northern Oklahoma College Wind Ensemble & Jazz Ensemble (OK), Texas Jazz Educator’s Association All Star Band (TX), The Gorgeous Go Devils (OK), South Australia Jazz Superband (Australia), Fifth Edition (OK), Metropraise Youth Orchestra (TX).

Currently........

Mr. Carlton currently the Director of Bands of Ranchview High School in Valley Ranch, TX. He currently resides in Arlington,TX and still provides clinics, consultations, and adjudications throughout the state of Texas and Oklahoma.
